During a recent walk in the country I spent a lot of time gazing up at wonderfully imposing trees, majestic birds in flight and puffs of white cloud set against an azure blue sky. Many of these things I tried to catch on camera. But when I looked down I saw the beauty of small plants and flowers and the much maligned “thistle”.
The thistle plants were now white and releasing the wisp like hair into the breeze, they were things of real beauty. Below are some of the images I captured of them.
