Sunset over West Yorkshire

I just happened to look out of the window as I was making myself a cup of tea and saw the sun setting behind the Pennine Hills. A quick dash to my office, grabbed the first camera I came across (Pentax K50 with Sigma 18-250 lens) and ran into the garden to try and catch the sunset.

What you see below are a sequence of photographs taken within a three minute period as the sun dropped quickly and the light began to fade.

There’s such intense drama in everyday life – if we only take the time to stand still and look! Thom

You are so right Thom, we often fail to see the beauty of the countryside around us and I live on top of the Pennines in the North of England with stunning views along the Colne Valley.
