A quiet Friday morning in Ramsbottom……then along comes the City of Wells steam train

En route to meet my friend Mike for our weekly business meeting, I called in at Ramsbottom railway station and timed it so that I caught the City of Wells steam train travelling from Rawtenstall to Bury. It was a lovely morning with cotton wool like clouds rolling across a stunning blue sky. These are a few of the photographs I took.
